Our dreams are taking flight.

He started working at the hospital yesterday, and while that means some adjustments here and there, ultimately, I am excited and extremely happy for him.  To do what it is he’s always wanted to do, to learn about things that fascinate and captivate him, to grow in his own terms - it is his dream taking flight into the realm of beautiful reality.

As for me, there is the pending final move, applying to graduate schools, anticipating a foundation job, and writing.  While it requires some patience to wait for my jet to take off completely, there are certain things I’ve been able to start now, such as establishing a writing discipline.  I am writing more seriously now, with more direction and structure, and I am gaining a sense of self that is very satisfying and reassuring.  I found my childhood dream again and am finally nurturing it.

For us both, there is the wedding.  And everything to look forward to.
